Re: Anyone Testing TF24529/24530

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Mar 22, 2006
We received TF24465 & TF24470 (they're corequisites) shortly after
installing 16.0 SP1. Just recently, we applied SP2/3 maintenance, and
were
given QO76495 & QO76496 as replacements. However, there was apparently
a
little 'oops' in QO76495, which caused S0C4 abends in batch ADSOBCOM.
Thus, we were given TF24528, which corrected that problem. We've had
that
applied for about 20 days now, and have no complaints.

Hi,

CA released a fix to apar QO76482 (16.0 SP0/SP1) and QO76496 (16.0
SP2/SP3) because someone reported it produced DC027001 or DC171028
messages. The original apars deal with literal pools greater than 32K.
Anyone know how the testing of these fixes are going?

Thanks

Re: Email From ADS/O?
"If you have version 16 you can use TCP/IP to
establish a conversation directly with your
email router. If you need more information I
can send you the presentation I gave at
CA World. Most of the code is contained
in the presentation.

Our ADS dialogs call the email program (DC-COBOL)
and it sends the mail directly to the email router.
