IUA website

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Sep 5, 2006
Hi all,

The IUA's service provider moved our website over this past weekend from

a WIN2000 server with IIS5 to a WIN2003 server with IIS6. You would

think that it would be a simple move, and everything would continue

working as before. No such luck. After spending many hours this

weekend working with the service provider to fix the different problems,

I'm at dead end. We're getting the following error message:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'

ODBC driver does not support the requested properties.

/english/index.asp, line 77

Line 77 is the following Open statemSent:

Set objrst = Server.CreateObject(""ADODB.Recordset"")

' Get the welcome message

objrst.Open ""SELECT home_welcome_"" & langue & "" AS welcome FROM

TBL_home"",Application(""strconnect""),3,1

It's the first database call. We're using MySQL as the database.

The application code has not changed, we just changed a few values in

the global.asa file in order to connect properly to the database and the

application.

If anyone has any ideas or would like to help me debug this, the IUA

(and I) would appreciate very much!

Thank you,

Laura Rochon
