Security reports (the auditors are coming!)

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Oct 28, 2006
Dear listers --

As we all know <ahem>, the catalog carries resource categories which
list groups of tasks and users (or groups of users) are granted execute
privileges on the categories. The question where is all this stuff
stored. I've been traipsing through the dictionary and catalog and
coming up empty. Anybody got any ideas???

Symbolic arameters in QFILES
"Hello All:

Does anyone have an example of, or the page number references in the OLQ
Manuals for using a symbolic parameter in a where clause of an OLQ QFILE?

I know this can be done, I did this a very long time ago but I just can't
find any documentation or remember how to do it?

Re: SQL batch performance with called programs
"Onni's suggestion solved our problem. It caused an astonishingly large
reduction in CPU and run time. So much I didn't believe it at first!

I believe this is the SQL equivalent of an extended run-unit.
