Dictionary page sizes

In the past, we used to give the load area (DDLDCLOD) a larger page size
than the dictionary area proper (DDLDML). I don't what the rationale
was for this, or if it is still valid. Are there any guidelines for
dictionary page sizes? And what about the SQL catalog?

Re: Dictionary page sizes
"I try to keep the program pools large enough so that nothing is loaded
more than once. Most of our program pools are fully loaded by
mid-Monday-morning, with very little I/O activity for the dictionary
load areas after that. So this appears to be a non-issue these days.
Thanks, Scott!
