SQL question

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Nov 20, 2006
Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help with SQL and a BOM set. Let's say we have
records A and B, with sets EXPLOSION and IMPLOSION. We need to get the
dbkey of the owner record of the EXPLOSION set, along with the dbkey of
the owner record of the IMPLOSION set, along with the dbkey of B.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated,
Thank you,

Re: SQL question
"No guarantees - but you could try the following:

Select b1.rowid as b1_dbkey,
a1.rowid as a1IMPLdbkey,
a2.rowid as a2IMPLdbkey
from b b1,
a a1,
a a2,
where criteria-for-selecting-B
and ""IMPLOSION"".B.A
and ""EXPLOSION"".B.A
;

Like I said no guarantees but it's worth a try - cheers - Gary
