Date Timestamp Abend

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Mar 2, 2007
We are getting a date timestamp mismatch between an DC program and a
map. Not hard to solve normally, but the abend is occurring in a trng
environment, where the program is not compiled into, but is being picked
up from a production environment. The map was moved into the trng
environment and compiled. Is there anyway we can use dmlo to fix the
timestamp on the map in our trng environment and fix the error? I tried
changing the map-098 record but that didn't fix the error. I am thinking
there is some other map record that is used for the load area but have
not been able to find it yet.

Anyone have any suggestions besides compiling the program into the trng
environment?

"Will,

If there were no changes to the map, you could probably punch it as a load module from the production environment and replace the one in the training environment. Or, you could recompile the program that uses it in the training environment.

"why not punch the map from prod into a loadlib, and then use the map load

Re: Date Timestamp Abend
"Will,

I would suggest punching the load module of the map from prod to trng.

You can see the timestamp on the dialog and map by issuing a ""Look
program=<dialogname or mapname>""

We often punch load modules to a runtime dictionary. This allows us to
do migrations during prime time without impacting the users then we
punch load modules of dialogs and maps to the runtime dictionary.

Hope this helps. I would not tweak with the catalog.
