Hi,

Is there some way of doing a global new-copy of ALL programs in a single
go? (NB: Other than bouncing the region.)

When we do restructures, after regenerating the affected subschemas, we
then do a new-copy of affected programs. And we need to determine the
exact program list everytime we do a restructure, and I would prefer an
easier way; eg. just do a global new-copy of all programs.

Thank you.

Re: lines of ADS code
"Absolutely correct. In our shop we don't migrate PROCESS code that
doesn't have a LANGUAGE of PROCESS. If this isn't the case in some shops
and they want to use the provided report then they will want to DROP
that line of code - BUT MUST add in some other way of identifying ADS
Process code. In our shop we have OLQ reports, JCL, HTML report
templates (merge in variables at run-time), report templates formatted
with GML into which we merge variables for APF printing at run time, PCL
report templates for Bar Code printing (merge in variables at run time),
Cobol copy code - and etc. - all stored in MODULE-067 and TEXT-088.
There has to be some way of identifying ADS Process code or the report
will be quite meaningless.

Cheers - Gary
