help with culprit

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Jun 22, 2007
Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone already has a report to do this.... I need to get the
list of all programs sysgened as PROTECT. I tried modifying CREPORT
004, but since I touch culprit only once every blue moon, it's not
working properly.

Does anyone already have a report to do this?

Thanks,

Another task statistics question
"Our SYSGENs contain the following. If I changed ""TASK"" to ""NOTASK"",
would it only affect the shutdown stats? Or would it affect something
else, such as task resource limit enforcement or Performance Monitor
task statistics? Should I even be thinking about this, i.e. would it
save any significant CPU?

Re: Performance Monitor question
"Kay,
I can't answer specifically on task wait, but I found (pre 15) the cost
to run task stats in general was 3-5% additional CPU. Too much, so I
only ran task level stats once a week (on day with lightest load, but
still enough for valid stats). This freed up CPU and still gave me task
level stats to evaluate.
