Try adding the following statement after the INPUT statement and
before the JREPORT8 statemSent:

REC DBKEY-A 49 4

All,

We are having difficulty with the ""DBKEY"" clause of the Culprit syntax
on the JREPORT8. Here is what we are using:

SELECT TYPE EQ ('BFOR' 'AFTR') AND =20

DB-KEY-A EQ (X'2E565306') =20

=20

I have also tried decimal format but I still can't seem to get it
right.

Re: [IDMSVENDOR-L] Journal report 8
"Jim,

If you are using the ""standard"" radix point for your DBKeys (i.e. the
page number portion of a DBKEY uses the first 3 bytes and the line index
portion uses the last 1 byte) -- then I think you should be able to use
the following SELECT statement to get the results (I think) you are
looking for.

SELECT DB-KEY1 EQ 3036755 AND DB-KEY2 EQ 6

(Where 'SELECT' begins in column 2)

That type of way works for me anyway -- ( I don't worry about specifying
the 'BFOR' and 'AFTR' since I think the odds of things matching for
other record types are pretty slim).

....

The DB-KEY1 field (as JREPORT 08 is delivered - at least in recent
years) defines the first 3 bytes of the DBKEY field, and the DB-KEY2
field defines the last byte (hence, like I mentioned, as long as you are
using the ""normal"" number of bits for your Line-index and Page-numbers)
-- you should be able to specify the values for Page and Line-index in
decimal values since those two fields are defined in Culprit as follows:

REC DB-KEY1 29 3 1
REC DB-KEY2 32 1 1
