As you are aware, any CICS program has access to the CWA. I'd look for
what program is overlaying you CWA area. Good luck.

Hello All:

Is anyone aware of any CICS Applications or Products that initialize the
CICS CWA?

The reason that I ask is that we are getting a 0068 in UCFCICS-RHDCUCFC.

The PLT Program IDMSINTC is getting loaded and it executes Successfully
and we get the message that it has been loaded successfully in the CICS
JES Log.

We have tried changing the CWADISP= value a number of times with no
success.
When we had it at CWADISP=0 we were getting an ASRA/0C4 in UCFCICS when
we issued the DBDC Transaction, this is how we knew the CWADISP was
getting overlaid.

We no longer get the ASRA/0C4 but now whatever CWADISP we use we get
the
0068 that say the IDMSINTC interface was not loaded, but it was loaded
and we are 1000% positive of this fact, but, if we display the CICS CWA
there are hex/binary zero's in whatever offset we use.

We are running CICS TS 2.2 and IDMS 16.0 SP5.

The SVC was loaded successfully, the IDMS Central Version comes up
successfully, the SVC number in the CICSOPT macro matches exactly the
SVC number that the CV is using, the CVNUM in the CICSOPT macro matches
exactly the CV Number specified in the IDMS System Generation.

We have an issue open with CA but we have not been able to figure this
one out yet?

CWADISP in CICS
"Bill:

How was the CICS region started? I had a similar problem when I upgraded from 14.1 to 16.0 and it turned out it was because the CICS region was not COLD started. After the CICS was cold started then a warm start was sufficient, but the initial start needed to be a cold start

CICS CWADISP Problem Resolved
"Hello All:

As it turns out the IDMS CWADISP was getting overlayed by another CICS user
Application, we used a CWADISP=32 and everything is working fine now.

Thanks to everyone who responded, great suggestions and great support.
