Hi everyone,

I'm trying to run JREPORT 1, but I want to limit the output to a certain
task id.

Here's my input:

DATABASE DBNAME=SYSDIRL
INPUT 23476 23476 UM(CULLJRNL)
PARAM=NOLIST
JREPORT=001
SEL WHEN TYPE EQ ('ABRT' 'BGIN' 'ENDJ' 'BFOR' 'AFTR' 'AREA')
* AND TASK-ID-CV EQ (6112)

but the job abends on a SOC4:

F C700007 CULPRIT JOB CANCELLED AFTER CULL
(CONT) SYSTEM ABEND CODE= 0C4

Here's the jes log:
13.59.03 JOB10054 +SYSIDMS parms -->,ECHO=ON,
13.59.03 JOB10054 +SYSIDMS parms --> DMCL=DMCLCV20
13.59.03 JOB10054 +SYSIDMS parms --> LOADAREA=OFF
13.59.03 JOB10054 +SYSIDMS parms --> PREFETCH_BUF=9999
13.59.03 JOB10054 +SYSIDMS parms --> DICTNAME=SYSDIRL
13.59.04 JOB10054 IEA995I SYMPTOM DUMP OUTPUT 372
372 SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=0C4 REASON CODE=00000004
372 TIME=13.59.04 SEQ=02514 CPU=0000 ASID=0035
372 PSW AT TIME OF ERROR 078D2400 00027D8A ILC 0
INTC 04
372 ACTIVE LOAD MODULE ADDRESS=0000C478
OFFSET=0001
372 NAME=CULL
372 DATA AT PSW 00027D84 - 41E0CA43 1BE84480
C3AC4680

So, I tried the following:

SEL WHEN TYPE EQ ('ABRT' 'BGIN' 'ENDJ' 'BFOR' 'AFTR' 'AREA')
* AND TASK-ID-CV EQ ('6112')

But I get the following:
SEL 00007 TASK-ID-CV EQ '6112'
E C300051 OPERANDS ARE CONFLICTING DATA TYPES

Does anyone have any ideas???
TIA,

Re: Running JREPORTS
"Laura,

All the fields in JREPORTS are in JREPORT 0. The documentation describes
these and what I find is

REC $ COMT,ENDJ,ABRT RECORDS ONLY **********************************
REC UPDATED 81 4 1
REC DB-STATS 85 60
REC READ 85 4 1
REC WRITTEN 89 4 1
REC PAGE-REQUESTS 93 4 1
REC CALC-ON 97 4 1
REC CALC-NOT-ON 101 4 1
REC VIA-ON 105 4 1
REC VIA-NOT-ON 109 4 1
REC REC-REQUESTED 113 4 1
REC CURR-OF-TR 117 4 1
REC CALLS 121 4 1
REC FGMT-STORED 125 4 1
REC FGMT-RETURNED 129 4 1
REC LOCKS-REQUESTED 133 4 1
REC SHARED-LOCKS-HELD 137 4 1
REC EXCLUSIVE-LOCKS-HELD 141 4 1
REC TR-ID-CV 145 4 1 $TRANSACTION ID.
REC TASK-ID-CV 149 4 1 $TCE address.

Point one is that TASK-ID-CV is commented as TCE address.
Point two is that it is only for COMT,ENDJ and ABRT records.

You are also selecting BFOR and AFTR records. Now a null BFOR or AFTR
will not be 149 bytes long and if it is at the end of a journals block
it is possible that at 149 from the start of journal record could beyond
the storage owned by the job so S0C4.

As Richard says when ever I went to select task id I always use
TRANSACT-ID

Hope this helps

Pete
