Values in words.

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Dec 6, 2007
Hello,

I want to know if there is a routine (assembler, ADS
built-in-function...) that can translate values/amounts from digits to
words? Thanks for any suggestion.

Example: 10725 ==> ten thousand and seven hundred twenty-five

"I'm looking for a help with JCL.
This old MVS guy is struggling with JCL to do a simple assemble and link of a batch Assemble program on a VSE system.
Please feel free to send it to me privatly, if you are so inclined.
Thank you,

VSE assembly sample
"Here is a sample job in VSE for an ad hoc assembly of RHDCOPTF. Hope
this helps.

Some notes:

Library LOADLIB is not in standard labels, so the label information
(DLBL, EXTENT) is in the JCL.

The linked phase (load modules are called phases in VSE) will be sublib
P in library LOADLIB.

LIBRARY IDMS is in standard labels, so no label information is supplied.

The IDMS relocatable modules are in sublib DISTLIB in library IDMS.

OPTION CATAL tells the linkage editor the name of the phase to be
linked.

The assmebler source immediately follows the EXEC ASMA90.

The last character in the EXEC ASMA90 line, the 'C', is a continuation
character.

The EXEC LISTLOG line will print the console log for the run of the job.
This can be important, because some errors will only appear in the
console and not in the LST output.

causergroups Follow-up
"We are very pleased with the response my email
last week ask you to signup for the CA IDMS PLC
on the causergroups site. We now have 149 people
registered on the site. This is a nice showing,
however, there are over 600 of us on the IDMS-L.

If you have not already done so, please go to
www.causergroups.com ,register, and join the
PLC - IDMS (IUA/EIUA) group. Your registration will
help show CA that there is still a very sizable IDMS
community and help assure that the IUA/IDMS PLC
continues to receive the funding we need to continue
to provide services such as this listserver and
new services in the future.

Thanks,

Re: causergroups Follow-up
"Terry,

I went out to sign up for the user group and it doesn't like my email
address. It says it is invalid. Any idea who I can contact to have
them look into it?

Thanks,
Steve
