Hi all,

I would like to know how to read a map with small letters in ADSO.
Usually, after pressing the function key the string automatically gets
converted to uppercase. Is there any way to read the map as it is
entered at the terminal?

Thanks in advance

Hi Sudhee,

A long time ago I wrote an ADS process that did this. The code was in a
mapless dialog that any other dialog could LINK to. We never
implemented it in production but it does work. Here is the source for
allowing lower case input:

MOVE 200 TO DCUF-LENGTH-OF-OUTPUT.
MOVE 00 TO DCUF-STORAGE-CODE.
MOVE 00 TO DCUF-RETURN-CODE.
MOVE 09 TO DCUF-COMMAND-LENGTH.
MOVE 'SET UPLOW' TO DCUF-COMMAND.

LINK PROGRAM 'RHDCUF00'
USING (DCUF-COMMAND-RECORD, DCUF-RETURN-RECORD).

RETURN.
