Is it possible to call an IDMS batch program running in CV mode, from a
non-IDMS batch program?

Re: Batch question
"We have several programs that use a single program with a function
parameter like this:
B= Bind run unit
P=Process data
F=Finish Run unit

Tom is correct in stating that the bind run-unit process is
""expensive"" from a performance standpoint. But I don't think that
separate modules are necessarily required assuming that the calling
protocol is adhered to by the caller. As for passing the subschema
control block to the called program, that is not necessary if you have a
single routine like we do.
