JDBC and IDMS - connection lost

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Mar 12, 2008
Hi all,

I'v got a problem when I connect a java client to IDMS via JDBC.

After the connection is established I can execute one SQL-Statement.

When I try to execute a second one, the connection is broken and I have
to reconnect again.

The IDMSJCF applet shows the same behaviour.

Error: java.net.SocketException: Connection Reset

A batch of SQL-statements works fine.

I connect myself from a PC to the IDMS on z/OS.

I use IDMS version 16 Sevicepack 4

Any Ideas, what could be the reason for that problem?

My goal is to connect to IDMS via Hibernate, but the c3p0 connection
pool got the same problem
all the time.

Kind regards
