Dear Friends,=20

I am currently working on a conversion from IDMS V150 sp6 to IDMS V160
SP6 running under zVSE 4.1.1. The system is non-SQL with DC access by
VTAM line and batch UCF jobs.=20

Has anyone had any experience with this upgrade? Any warnings, gotchas
or recommendations?=20

Also, can anyone comment on the performance of the new release?=20

Re: Upgrade from R150 to R160 under zVSE
"When I upgraded from 15.0 SP4 to 16.0 SP4 running z/OS 1.6 there were
several problems I ran into. I had to increase my freed storage parm
from 1200k to 2400k because I was getting S878 on calls to RACF. I had
one problem with an exit routine getting program check because it had
rmode=24 and amode=31, changed it to rmode=any fixed that. If your
running DC-COBOL you need to look at apar QO88752 or the one for your
OS. Other than that it was pretty painless.
