SYSLOCKS overflow

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Apr 22, 2008
One of our production CV's gets periodic SYSLOCK overflows. I have
increased the number of SYSLOCKS defined several times, so that it now has
twice as many as our most heavily-used CV (which does not have this
problem). But it is still not enough. I can't see anything on the log to
explain it. Can anyone give me advice as to how find out what is using so
many SYSLOCKS, or how to determine when the overflow occured?

"Hi Kay,

I have syslocks set to 100,000 on one Prod CV. What kind of numbers are
you talking here?
