In the first quarter of 2008 the German company was the hands-down
market leader - in share of revenues [SOR]. The following chart shows
that DPWN's $24,890 million in revenue made it the international
customer market leader with 41.4% of the group's $60,062 million
revenues. Followed by UPS with 21.1% of revenues. FDX was a distant
third with a 16.4% share, just a little over two points above KNIN's
14.0%. TNT picked up the balance with a SOR of 7.1 percent.

"SNAP verb in CICS program? (my cics program, ing ignorance is showing)"
"we are trying to trap errors in a CICS program (protocol CICS-EXEC) and
using the following:

01 WS-SNAP-TITLE PIC X(134) VALUE ' TB08TB08 ERR'.

in working storage, and

SNAP TITLE IS WS-SNAP-TITLE
FROM ERROR-STATUS LENGTH +4.

in the procedure division

however, the SNAP verb is not being detected in the precompiler as a IDMS
verb.

is SNAP not permitted in a CICS program?
if not, any alternatives?

thanks,

"Chris,
You can display info on the CICS log. Not the same as a snap, but better t=
han nothing. Sample code:

01 CSMT-MESSAGE.
05 FILLER PIC X(04)
VALUE '*** '.
05 CSMT-PROGRAM-NAME PIC X(08).
05 FILLER PIC X(02)
VALUE ': '.
05 CSMT-MESSAGE-TEXT PIC X(100).

EXEC CICS WRITEQ TD
QUEUE('CSMT')
FROM(CSMT-MESSAGE)
LENGTH(114)
END-EXEC.

The CICS log can be viewed using transaction CLOG. It's even less user-fri=
endly than OLP.
