Esteemed Listers:

I am running 16.0 SP 4. A dialog is getting error status 0518, indicating
record not bound, for obtain first within setname. I have verified
subschema, valid currency, record existence, etc. For grins and giggles, I
had the programmer change the obtain statement to include the member record
name (there is only one member in the set). It worked - no error. Have any
of you seen this before?

Thanks,

Re: 0518 on Obtain First in Set
"Hi Roger,

Can you give a little more information about the dialog?

1. Is it in production or test?
2. Is this the first time the programmer tried to execute the abending
DML(they just added it to the code)? Or is this something that's been in the
code for a while and has now quit working?
3. Are they using TEST VERSION?
4. Can you supply the actual DML statement?
