    I'm running R16 SP4. I'm getting an error 0353 most likely caused by a rec=
ord length mis-match with the subschema since there are no indexes or other=
sets involved. The record is a CALC record. There are several good recor=
ds in the area; but at least one bad one. My question: how do I find the b=
ad one(s) and get rid of it/them? I ran a DB-AUDIT and it showed no errors=

    "Roger,

DB-Audit is your best bet for identifying the bad Record(s).
Might want to use QuickCheck in Audit so it will look for the most common data inconsistencies.

    "Roger,

DBAUDIT is seeing a different subschema than are DMLO/OLQ/Culprit. That
is a significant clue. Do you punch/link subschemas into a LOADLIB that
    DBAUDIT is using?

Using the subschema that DBAUDIT is currently seeing will also give you
the opportunity to get rid of the invalid records.

"How to display Security Definitions, etc"
    "Hi,

At our shop, the IDMS responsibilities have been split between the DBA and
the Sysprog. The sysprog has SYSADMIN access, but I do not.

I would like to know what access I need on my userid so that I can display
security definitions, resources, etc etc, as I would like to learn more
about how IDMS all fits together.

For example, when I go into OCF, connect to system, and display my userid,
    I can only see this:

OCF 15.0 ONLINE IDMS NO ERRORS DICT=SYSTEM 1/10
    DIS USER U310781;
    *+ Status = 0        SQLSTATE = 00000
    *+   CREATE USER ""U310781""
    *+       USER IS ACTIVE
    *+       NAME 'M BAKER'
    *+       PASSWORD ASSIGNED
    *+       PROFILE NULL
    *+       DATE CREATED 2006-03-01-10.01.16.391091 BY U256573
    *+       DATE LAST UPDATED 2008-12-10-14.31.56.008414 BY U305740
    *+       ;

However, when our sysprog issues the same command against my userid, we
get 204 lines listing all of my particular access rights.

Could someone please explain what exactly we need to do so that our
sysprog can grant me display rights, so that I can view my own access
rights, and all the other types of things setup in IDMS, etc.

    Thanks very much.

"You should be able to display your resource categories and groups
defined to OCF if this is how it was setup. In OCF set to the system
dictionary try doing a 'dis all res cat'. Then you can display the
individual resource category. You can also do a 'dis all groups' but
like I said there are many ways to set this up, hope this helps.
