Re:[IDMSVENDOR-L] DBHASH and USERSTAT

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Feb 11, 2009
We just migrated to R16 and one of our customers are having problems
with 2 of their assembler programs. They are named DBHASH (which I
think came from the old Boxes and Arrow magazine) and the other is a
user program invoked by the task code USERSTAT which we think came from
one of the CA User Conferences. Is anyone familiar with and/or using
either of these in a R16 environment? If so, did you have to do anything
other than relink them when you migrated?

Re: [IDMSVENDOR-L] DBHASH and USERSTAT
"Ok.....just a quick update. We've ran the dialog under ADS/Alive and I
think we've proven the DBHASH problem is nothing more than users not
remembering their passwords on the test CVs we just upgraded. They have
also said that they get an error when trying to assemble the USERSTAT
program so when they send us the job output I think that we will find
what Dan suspects.....a missing or changed DSECT.
