EXTEND SPACE

Hello All:

Has anyone performed EXTEND SPACE more than once on an area?

Also has anyone ever XPAGED an area that has been extended?

I have a very large area that has already been extended once and there
are plenty of page numbers available and contiguous to the existing
area.

I am aware of the CALC record issue.

I did not create this I inherited it.

Re: EXTEND SPACE
"There was a problem back in R12 where, if you performed an EXTEND SPACE
on an area that had already been XPAGEd, the ORIGINAL PAGE SIZE clause
was dropped from the area definition, affecting the target page for CALC
records and the ability to locate SMPs. Unload/reload would recover all
the data, but you might end up with delicately keyed CALC records. I
was running VSE when I encountered this (2001); according to my notes
the PTFs are LO76016 (12.0), LO76017 (14.0), and LO72667 (14.1), and I
assume it was fixed in source in R15.

This is all I know about, and I remember it because it happened to me in
the middle of CA-World. Oh joy . . . !
