the latter, then certainly the log can be interrogated and all=3D20

you sat all day executing lockmon=3D20 you MIGHT see stalls building, but

IUA Webinar Posting Guildelines
"The IUA/IDMS PLC board passed the following guidelines that will facilitate posting of notices for
educational webinars on the IDMS-L. We are more than happy to promote these educational opportunities
but felt we needed a process by which they can be posted on the IDMS-L in a manor fair
to all vendors.

Best regards,
Terry Schwartz
IDMS PLC (IUA) Chair

Educational/Webinar Posting Process

IUA will facilitate the posting of announcements of educational or otherwise informative events, including webinars, local meetings and public classes as follows:

1. The notice itself will be exclusively posted by an IUA Board Member or other person as designated by the IUA Board.

2. Any vendor or person requesting a posting shall provide to the Board the following information, no later than one week prior to the requested posting date:

* Title of the presentation
1 Name of the presenter(s)
2 Overview of the presentation
3 Affirmation that the intent of the presentation is to enhance or extend the use of the IDMS product line, not to replace or eliminate
4 Affirmation that it is understood violations may result in temporary or permanent revocation of any and all IUA privileges
5 Link to the vendor's website with full educational/webinar information.

The above information must be emailed to iuaboard@iuassn.org<mailTo:iuaboard@iuassn.org>. VENDORS WILL NOT POST THIS INFORMATION DIRECTLY TO THE IDMS-L.

3. The posting will be reviewed and approved/rejected by the Board or designated subset of the Board (Review Committee appointed by Chair) in advance of posting. The board will complete this process within 5 business days after receipt. The event posting must meet the following criteria:

* The event must be related to IDMS and/or associated products
1 The purpose of the event must be to educate or otherwise improve attendees knowledge and understanding of the IDMS product line or 3rd party extensions thereto
2 The purpose of the event MUST NOT be to eliminate or replace the use of IDMS or associated products
3 The purpose of the event MAY be to introduce 3rd party products which EXTEND the capabilities of IDMS

4. A vendor may request no more than one such posting per month.

5. Once approved, a notification posting shall be made to the IDMS-L after approval by the Review Committee. The posting will inform members that a new educational/webinar is available. The posting will include the link to the vendor's website.

6. The Review Committee shall investigate any reported abuse of these policies, and report their findings to the full Board.

7. The Board will determine if disciplinary action needs to be taken, and may assess such discipline as it deems appropriate, up to and including a permanent ban from either or both lists and/or IUA membership.

8. The Educational/Webinar Posting Process shall be distributed to all vendors so that they are aware of the process.

"Memories of ""user week"" - Doral CC"
"Anyone still remember the ""user week"" at the Doral CC in Miami?

Right now I can't remember if it was a Spring Conference or the Fall
Conference. Transfering some slides to JPGs I ran across some pictures
from the conference and I'd like to get the dates somewhat straight. It
was either in the fall of '81 or spring (March/April?) of '82 - any
ideas?

Besides the sigs, the thing I remember most is the opening reception -
amayzing! The largest oyster mountain (on ice) I've ever seen - and
it's where I learned to eat oysters :D

"This was, AISTR, a IUA conference and it was held at the Doral CC in
Miami.

I recall that the Doral people were upset because we went to the
conference sessions rather than play golf.

Imagin that - what geeks we were.
