I have looked in OPER and all see are counts (by terminal or task or
ser) .=20
Is there supposed to be a place that shows the PROGRAM holding the
ocks?
In W AC TA the list of programs usually looks like a list of RHDCxxxx
r ADSOMAIN or something that I cannot seem to tie to the application
rogram.)
Thanks

he OPER task code could be of use to determine the program name holding
cks, using the WATCH DB command within OPER, and the WATCH ACTIVE
SKS command within OPER will show the LTERM and USER ID.

indy,
ust a few quick questions or things to ponder:
hen this situation occurs, is there anything running in batch against
e
ea/record in question?
s this happening at a certain time of the day? A certain time of the
nth, say month end? Or is the occurrence random?

have been offloading Logs - I can work with it either way.
hat I am trying to determine is:
Which program is holding onto the records and causing a stall in
other program.
(since I have been able to execute a TRACE while a STALL is
ppening
d see the TRACE stop right before an OBTAIN OWNER,
I figured if I can determine which program is holding onto
ocking) the record the Stalled program needs, then I can check out
AT
ogram to find out why it won't let go.)
