Re: question about numbered user exits

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Oct 18, 2010
You have the option of defining an exit as a program or linking the exit wi=
th rhdcuxit. I went to the habit of defining them as a program because the=
n they can be disabled and new copied during testing, making testing more e=
fficient, and especially to gain visibility of its use, etc. Defining them=
as a program, a pde gets built for your exit, you can disable the exit wit=
hout impacting IDMS processing in case there is a problem. The program can=
be displayed with a DCMT command, disabled with DCMT and in your case you =
can display the loaded and called count.
