Re:How to find length of SQL-defined table?

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Nov 16, 2010
Is there any way to get the length of an SQL-defined table as defined, othe=
r than adding up the column lengths by hand?

The schema display does not provide the length as a comment.
IDMSLOOK does not provide this information about SQL-defined records.
""Print space"" and ""print page"" give you the length of existing rows, but th=
is does not necessarily match the definition, if columns were added later.
