When SMS was=A0 implemented in my shop,=A0 we excluded the IDMS DASD =

SMS=A0might be a benefit for DB2 but that is a subject for another =

How can I convince management and other IS support personnel about

Is there a good business savings=A0 presentation for doing this =

Re: Date and Time Overrides for an entire IDMS Region
"Gary,

We have a nice tool called ""HSL Date Simulator"" which allows you to modify =
the date and time for online programs - ADS, COBOL, and assembler. It does=
not affect the journals or logs. You can set different date/time combinat=
ions for specific users and/or DBnames.
