Re:Re: [IDMSVENDOR-L] Question on DB reporting methods

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Dec 2, 2010
Greatly appreciate past responses.

I have had the area space reports executing on a monthly basis to insure I will not have any surprise space issues and have begun recording the percentage of space available for historical tracking.

My next question:

Is there anything I should be taking under review from the database perspective?

Are there other reports I should be executing and reviewing to insure good health of the system?

I realize there are numerous reports that can be extracted but I am looking for the next most relevant issues I should be dealing with.

As always I greatly appreciate any recommendations.

IDMS Journals
"Hi all,

=20

A while back we encountered no journal available issue because of a user
application and IDMS generated the following message:=20

IDMS DC205011 V4 T45376 NO Journals are AVAILABLE. IDMS Waiting

=20

We have automation in place to trap the following message' +IDMS
DC205003 V1 T1958 Disk Journal is FULL' and submit the appropriate off
load job.

Does anyone know of other automation processes that can be used to avoid
this 'no journals available' issue?
