Re:DBMS VERB NUMBER Table

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Dec 10, 2010
I am trying to fine that table that list what the DBMS VERB number in
the journal DSECT #JTRDS. I thought it was in the Programmers Quick
Reference Guide but it is not. The SYSIDMS DMLTRACE=ON gives the DML
verb number. Can someone tell me where to find it?

#JTRDS
* X'04' - IDMS EXTENT AREA
JTRVERBN DS C DBMS VERB NUMBER

Re: max size of idms database dataset?
"We experimented with a Large dataset (file) in our sandbox cv.
It worked fine with IDMS, once all the adjustments to OS had been made
(I forget what they were, SMS & such).
But there was some problem with FASTACCess.

So theoretically, yes, I believe you could have 16 million 32k pages, or
whatever would fit on mod27 or mod54 . . .
