Incorrect Risk Indicator on the PMO Accelerator Alerts Portlet

We are in the process of upgrading from 8.1.0 FP3 to 12.0 SP04. I am seeing this issue in both environments.
With the PMO-Project Status page layout, the Project Dashboard page displays the Alerts portlet among others. According to the documentation the color of the risk stoplight displayed on that Alerts portlet is determined by the project’s total risk score as follows:

White: the project’s risk data is undefined

Green: the project’s risk is low (0 to 33)

Yellow: the project’s risk is medium (34 to 68)

Red: the project’s risk is high (68 to 100)
This is not what I am seeing. I have a project with a total risk score of 55, which displays correctly as yellow on the project properties risk sub-page but incorrectly as red on the Alerts portlet. A mouse-over of the red portlet indicator shows it as “Red (High Risk): 3”. I configured the portlet to display the value and get 3, not 55. I have not found any reference to this discrepancy on the support website or this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
