Background services monitoring

Hi All,

I need to have a monitor checking the background services in our production environment.

It will open a ticket whenever that service is down.

Checking the manual I can see the following to identify if the Niku Background service is up:
niku status bg

With that I can see if it is up and running "[+] Niku Background Server is started".

I wanted to know if anyone else had that need and would share that with me so I know of other ways to check this.

I am concerned that things like "Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" would not be captured by that command and I end up with a worthless monitor.

Thanks for any help/suggestions,
