    Hi All,

I have created WEB I report and set as Landscape format for layout but while getting output from Clarity and save in PDF or sending for Print option its coming as Portrait.
How to set WEB I report format as Landscape while saving in PDF or give print option.

Please give inputs on this issue.

    Regards,

    Hi NJ,

I have developed few WEBI Reports and it is working fine for me.

Have just selected Page Orientation as Landscpe under Page Layout.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. Also, is there a way, we can auto-extend the size of the field(s). There are a few text fields where the data is large, so, it ends up in the next page.

If you could let me know where to set both these options (maybe a screenshot would help)

    Regards
    NJ

    Hi NJ,

Due to Security of our system, i can't attach any screenshot or document. Give me your email address and will send you the screenshot. But its very easy, just follow the below steps.

    1) For print options.

Go to the tab or page on the WEBI report which you want to set the landscape.
    Click Page layout under properties.
    Select Page orientation as Landscape.
    Click Save
    Done.

    2) few text fields where the data is large

Depending upon your requirement you can auto width or Auto height the text box. In your case you need to set the Auto height tickbox as checked.

    Click the textbox.
    Under properties Click Display
Check Autofit Height checkbox and give default value.

Save the report and it’s done.

I hope this will help you.

Also, I have found that even though my report is in landscape mode and on 8 1/2 x 14 paper, Adobe Acrobat does sometimes try to print on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. You have to tell Adobe to change paper sizes.
