Support Cases

Lori has a great post on Best Practices for Creating your Support Cases.

I wanted to add here that with CA Access Control we have a scipt that we recommend you run and upload the created file to your support case when you open it. This will help us know the version of CA Access Control and have access to your logs and database. This will improve the speed at which we find a root cause of your problem.

The support.sh script is found in our <AC install>/lbin folder. Please note it will restart CA Access Control if it is running when you run the script. The script will tell you the name and location of the 'support.tar' that can attach to the case.
