Invalid Period Error on Submitting Cost Plan

Hi,

We are on 12.1. Getting "REVMGR-20931:Invalid period(s)." on submitting cost plan for approval when period type change compare to previous cost plan.

Following are the steps

1. Create Cost plan with Quarterly Period
2. Submit Cost Plan for Approval
3. Go to Budget Plan and approve it
4. Create new Cost Plan with Monthly Period
5. Submit Cost Plan for Approval
6. REVMGR-20931:Invalid period(s).

Please let me know if anyone has faced this problem.
