The first (and easiest) thing to check to find out why an ITPAM process failed is to go into the instance that failed. You can do this by double clicking on it in the Default Process Watch. Find the operator that is red (which means it failed). Right click on that operator and select "Dataset". This will take you to the dataset for that operator. There should be an error message in the operator dataset to tell you why it failed.

If nothing else this saves time when reporting the issue to us in technical support because we have the error to start troubleshooting right off the bat.
