    Hi,

We have a requirement to implement SSO for Oracle UCM and Oracle Weblogic portal(10gr3) using CA Siteminder. Can you please guide me how i can implement SSO on Content Server.

Is there any chances to implement SSO without Agent for weblogic server?

    Thanks for help

    Hi Sarabjeet,

Oracle UCM is running on WebLogic?

Are you trying to implement SSO between Oracle UCM and WebLogic Portal server? or SSO between web server and WebLogic server?

The only way to implement SSO between a web server and WebLogic server is by using "Application Server Agent for WebLogic" on WebLogic server side. Without this agent I dont think you will be able to achieve SSO between them.

    Thanks,

    Hi Saravanan,

    Thanks for the reply.
Yeah both Oracle UCM(universal content management) and portal are running on Weblogic server 10.3.5. But currently CA doesn't have any ASA for weblogic version 10.3.5.
We are actually looking to implement a scenario, such that once user logs in portal they should experience seamless single-on across all the applications including oracle UCM.

But as UCM has its own proprietary, so we wont be able to customize anything such that it would trust SMSession cookie:sad

    Hi Sarabjeet,

Oracle WebLogic 10.3.5 is supported by ASA; it may be noted as 11g in the Platform Support Matrix.

If the Oracle portal and UCM can do SSO without SiteMinder (by using JSESSION or something like) then you can use ASA to do SSO between SiteMinder and portal. In most of the cases, if you can do SSO (without SiteMinder) with all your applications running in WebLogic then it is very much possible to integrate ASA with it.

    Thanks,
    Saravanan
