After many years of dedicated service as the Editor in Chief of Connections, Gary Cherlet has retired from his position as Editor and is moving on to bigger and better things. I personally, and the rest of the IUA board, wish to thank Gary for all his dedication to Connections.

As many of you know, we have moved our web presence into the IUA/EIUA Community within MyCA. This social networking application allows us to communicate with you, our membership, on an immediate and interactive level in ways never before possible. Because of this, we will be changing the way we deliver the content previously available in Connections.

As of today, articles that would have appeared in Connections will now be found in the IUA/EIUA Community Blog. Our first contributor is Dick Weiland, Principal Software Engineer at CA Technologies. Dick has written a wonderful article entitled "CA IDMS Environmental Database Tuning".

You can find this enlightening article on CA-IDMS Environmental Tuning by following the dynamic link to the IUA/EIUA Community space within MyCA.

Or you can simply select the "blog" tab any time you are in the IUA/EIUA community space.

Please enjoy Dick's article.
