IE8 and BO reports

Hi,

We have many users on Clarity 12.1 using IE8
Most users are fine running reports.
We are using Business objects 12.1.0

But I have a small number of users that get error messages whenever they try and run a report.
If they use firefox, the reports work, so I don’t think it’s a user issue.

So there must be a setting in IE8 that is causing the problem.
Is anyone aware of an IE8 setting that could be causing this.

I have had the user run reports with no add on’s
Their version of Java is correct

I’ve compared settings in IE8 between users that can run reports and those that cannot but have been unable to find an answer


The Error the user sees is a window pops up with a message saying
"Errors on this page might cause it to work incorrectly".

There is an inner box with the message
Access is Denied
openDoccallbackAsApplication.js

Anyone have any ideas on how I should isolate the issue or even better how to resolve :grin:
