DX Application Performance Management

Has anyone been able to get the nicmon.pl to work on a linux box?
If so What steps did you have to take to get it up and running?

Hey Hiko!
Yes it has been a long time. How are things?
I am trying to use the nicmon.pl on a linux box and it does not want to run. We are using the 9.1.1 EPAgent files.
So far I have been able to run linDiskStats, procstat, netstat, inodes and vmstat without a issue.
I see no errors in the epa.log either. So I can’t tell why it is not running.

Does the agent report errors in running the plugin, or are you just not getting metrics?

I never see the node populate in the investigator.

Thanks for the update! I wrote mine originally for AIX. I should probably update the package name to reflect that.

Guys thanks for the updates. I tried the updated Nic plugin and it works great.
