Import Transaction Issue

We have an interface for importing non-transactions.

The issue is that there are 2 transaction classes with the same name and type -
One is TEST of type Expense
Other one is Test of type Expense

For one of the expense resources, we created a transaction for a task (in not started status)

Task start = 1/2/2012 (mm/dd/yyyy)
Task finish = = 1/2/2012 (mm/dd/yyyy)

Transaction Date = 2/9/2012 (mm/dd/yyyy)

When we run the interface, it completes successfully. I look at the Invalid Transactions page, but, do not find the transaction there.

So, am baffled as to where has the transaction gone ??? :sad

The interface does some checks and then imports the transactions (created as new transactions, and can be seen on[b] Invalid Transactions page), including the check for transactiontype -

select transtype from transclass where lower(transclass) = lower('TEST');

The above query is returning 2 rows for the above statement.

My guess is that due to the existence of 2 transaction classes of same name and type, the system is not processing it... Am I right ?

Or, is it 'cause the transaction date is > the finish date of the task ?

I have done all the necessary checks, but cannot get my head around it ... :sad

Any clues ?
