Passing NULL in a Drill Down portlet

Hi all,

I created a drill down portlet passing two parameters with following construct:

.... AND
ihc.parent_id=@WHERE:param:xml:integer:/data/link_round_id/@value@ AND
clvst.id=@WHERE:param:xml:integer:/data/clvstid/@value@ AND
@FILTER@

The portlet works fine as long both the parameters have some value passed.

If any of the parameter is NULL, then the query should do outer join and produce result but the query does not qualify any rows because the construct is in a WHERE clause.

Is there any work around? i.e. Can we pass the construct in the JOINs instead of WHERE?

Please advise.

Thanks and regards,

Mayank
