Has anyone modified this to run on Solaris that could share?
Just to make sure I understand, you want the native memory per JVM process?
That is correct. I'm guessing something flexible enough to gather any process name passed into it?
No need to pass any parameters.
It does a single 'ps' against all JVMs and parses through them. Solaris will be more difficult due to the way it limits the output. This is still true if you're using the POSIX-compliant tools.
I have updated this to work with Solaris by creating nodes with the name "JVM##" and referencing the PID as a metric under the JVM.
