When creating a Rate Matrix in Clarity, the Administrator has the option to create a 'Private' Rate Matrix.
This will allow for limiting access to see and update the details of the rates and costs configured within the matrix to be controlled by the list of resources given specific permissions to access the matrix.
If the Clarity Administrator user is creating this 'Private' matrix, it is important that the user adds their user name to the 'Permissions' configuration page.
The users that are added to the permissions to access this private matrix, MUST also have active, financial properties defined to access and manage the matrix.
So, the end-user must have both active, financial properties AND be listed on the Private Rate Matrix 'Permissions' page.
Only end-users with this access can manage the private matrix. The matrix can be changed to a public matrix at any time by one of these users by going into the Permissions page and clicking the 'Make Public' button.
