  • 1.  How to approve timesheet actions with WSDL

    Hi,

I am trying to create a process to automatically approve old timesheets using WSDL previous to a Clarity version upgrade. We are currently reviewing timesheets associated with our unit prior to migration, without access to database or gel scripting.

Is it possible to approve timesheets in an multiapproval configuration with WSDL in this scenario? I guess each ActionItem associated with the timesheet must be done to acomplish that.

Is it possible to use the http://www.niku.com/xog/InvokeAction wsdl with clarity processes (Timesheet Process V12_08 / NCC Project Manager Approval v06)? I don't know how to pass parameters to identify the action to approve, etc.

    Thanks in advance,
    Víctor

    Hi Victor,
sure you can create a xog file that sets the status of the timesheets to 3 (approved), but if this is just a one time deal why not just do it in the list page in the UI?

if it is going to be an ongoing process then you can just do something like the autoaproval processs that comes with Clarity.

    hope this helps
