  • 1.  Infoview error in the reports tab in 12.6

    Hi Friends,

    i've configured the boxi details in the options manager and recycled the services. On the reports tab, i'n not seeing any data and when i click on the Infoview button, i' getting error saying feature not supported.

    Please see the attachment.
    do i mssing any configuration here please let me know.

    I believe the part you still need is a user account on the BOXI server and assigned to the specific group able to view/create reports. I ran into this issue when I first started and once I was added to the BOXI server and configured in the Business Objects Enterprise CMC app then I was able to access Infoview fine.

    Hi,

    you have Configure BOXI with servicedesk.

    find the below steps and maded the changes.


    1. Login to CMC console as an administrator,go to authentication section.

    Clicke enterprise.

    Check the option "Trusted authenctication is enabled", in the shared secret filed enter the value of the shared secret.click save.

    2. Make the following changes in web.xml file present under

    \commonreporting3\tomcat55\webapps\opendocument\web-inf to


    opendoc.cms.default - give the appropriate hostname along with port of your boxi CMS.
    opendoc.siteminder.enabled - change the value true(default) to false.
    opendoc.sso.enabled-change false(default value) to true.

    3.Edit trustedprincipal.conf,located in

    NX-Root\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE\webapps\CAisd, enter the sahared secret as sharedsecret=******(xxxxx is the shared secret entered in the CMC)

    Save andclose the file.

    Restart the tomact services in BOXI server and CA service Desk manager from services
