Hello,

The CA Clarity PPM On Premise documentation for Release 13.1 has been improved to help you find information faster. For Release 13.1, the documentation changes include the following:

Improved Bookshelf

The bookshelf provides a single place for you to find helpful product information. On the bookshelf, you will find links to the Release Notes, role-based documentation scenarios, product documentation, implementation information, green books, knowledge base articles, webcasts, videos, social media, educational courses, and other information.

You can find the Release Notes and bookshelf on CA Support Online, and no login is required. Simply go to the Documentation page of CA Support Online, and in the "Select a Bookshelf" drop-down, select "CA Clarity PPM 13.1.00 (On Premise) - US English, and click Go.

Note: This bookshelf provides a link to a new restricted bookshelf that contains content that requires a login to CA Support Online (that is: Administration Guide, Installation Guide, Studio Guide, and Technical Reference Guide). After you log in, go to the Documentation page of CA Support Online, and in the "Select a Bookshelf" drop-down, select "CA Clarity PPM 13.1.00 Admin On Premise - US English, and click Go

Role-based Documentation Scenarios

Role-based documentation scenarios help you complete specific tasks. For example, there are scenarios on how to configure the views for an object, how to customize the Actions Menu, and how to manage authentication. Others are available, so please explore! All scenarios are available on the bookshelf using direct links to CA Support Online, and in both HTML and PDF format.

Scenarios Guide

This new guide is provided in both HTML and PDF format.

Technical Reference Guide - Now Available in Both HTML and PDF Format

You asked and we listened! Based on feedback on this forum, we now provide the Technical Reference Guide in both HTML and PDF format. This guide is available in the new "restricted" bookshelf, so you need to log in to access it. Please see the Note above for details.

The On Demand bookshelf is coming soon. If you have any questions about this information, please let me know. Please explore the new bookshelf, content, and so forth and let me know your comments and suggestions for improvement.

Regards,

John W. George
