  • 1.  Issue in portlet label when migrated to another env using xog

    Hi All,

We have a portlet where we added a new attribute,

we are able to see the attribute id in the list and filter view but not the attribute name we configured.

we have used xog and also manually configured but the changes are not reflecting.

could anyone tell the solution for this?

Have you tried to "PUBLISH" your portlet since you added the new attribute?

If used PUBLISH im afraid the users might loose their personal configuration. is there any other way than to Publish?

In short; "No" ; the reason you don't see the new changes is probably because of the user-personlisation!

    This is what Nick posts
Only the users who have configured their own versions of the view (and so now are using a 'user' version of the view) will not see them - UNLESS you publish or they themselves Restore to Defaults, which essentially is an action to remove their custom view so that they fall back to the system view you (recently) configured and everyone else is using.
To me that sounds like publish will remove the user configurations, but don't take my word for it.
