Lost contact with the Introscope EM

My 8.2.3.0 agent on Windows complains that it Lost contact with the Introscope Enterprise Manager present on AIX, however telnet and ping are working fine from agent machine to EM machine.
This happened previously and got resolved automatically, now again this issue.

What could be the problem?
