Using Monitor Event operator against Service Desk Status

Hi,
Does anyone has an example of how to use the Monitor Event operator to check if the status of a service desk ticket changed?

I've been using a loop that check the status every 30 seconds or so.

But was reading that you can use this in the documentation, but no example at all.
