Auto-fill of lookups in Clarity 13.1

Hi folks, we know of the new feature in 13.1 where you start typing a letter in a field with a lookup and Clarity retrieves lookup values starting with that letter. You don't have to explicitly hit the browse binoculars any longer which is cool.

Now, on to my question. It works on almost every lookup we have, but it does not work on a custom lookup which is based on an NSQL (it simply says no results match in the prompt, but there sure are results, am attaching an image file). I am wondering what could cause this behaviour. It could be something with the way the NSQL is written. Anyone here has faced this kind of problem in 13.1? Your thought are most welcome. Let me paste the nsql below:

SELECT DISTINCT
@SELECT:APP.ID:app_id@,
@SELECT:APP.NAME:Application@,
@SELECT:SVC.NAME:Service@,
@SELECT:lookups.NAME:app_type@,
@SELECT:RES_A.FULL_NAME:app_owner_name@,
@SELECT:RES_A.FIRST_NAME:app_owner_firstname@,
@SELECT:RES_A.LAST_NAME:app_owner_lastname@,
@SELECT:RES_A.ID:app_owner_id@
FROM INV_INVESTMENTS APP,
CLARITY.INV_INVESTMENTS SVC,
CLARITY.INV_HIERARCHIES H,
CLARITY.ODF_CA_APPLICATION odf_ca_app,
CLARITY.SRM_RESOURCES RES_A,
CLARITY.CMN_LOOKUPS_V lookups
WHERE @FILTER@
AND (APP.ODF_OBJECT_CODE = 'application')
AND (SVC.ODF_OBJECT_CODE = 'service')
AND (APP.ID=H.child_id)
AND (SVC.ID = H.parent_id)
AND (odf_ca_app.ID = APP.ID)
AND (odf_ca_app.HBO_APP_APPOWNER = RES_A.ID)
AND (lookups.lookup_type = 'HBO_APP_HBOAPPLICATIONTYPE')
and (lookups.lookup_enum = odf_ca_app.hbo_app_type)
and (lookups.LANGUAGE_CODE = 'en')
@BROWSE-ONLY:AND APP.is_active=1:BROWSE-ONLY@
ORDER BY service, application
